Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Kinoveo is a demonstration website for browsing movie and series listings, watching sample trailers, and saving a local watchlist. It is not a commercial streaming service and is not affiliated with any film studio, distributor, or platform.

2. Information we collect

Kinoveo does not require an account and does not run a user database. Limited information may be stored on your own device or seen by third-party services that deliver fonts, images, and sample video files.

• Watchlist titles. Titles you save are stored in your browser’s localStorage under the key Kinoveo-watchlist. This list does not leave your device unless you copy it yourself.
• Contact form details. If you use the contact page, your name, email, topic, and message stay in the browser on this device so you can review what you sent. This demo does not transmit that form to a server.
• Technical requests. When pages load, your browser may send a standard request (IP address, browser type, and the page URL) to the host serving this site and to the providers listed below.

3. Information we do not collect

• Payment cards, billing addresses, or subscription data
• Government ID, date of birth, or precise location
• Viewing history sent to a Kinoveo account (there isn’t one)
• Advertising profiles or cross-site tracking pixels operated by Kinoveo

4. Cookies and similar storage

Kinoveo itself does not set advertising cookies. Your browser may keep:

• Local watchlist and draft contact entries, as described above
• Font files cached by Google Fonts after the first visit
• Cached images from Unsplash and sample videos from Google’s public video host

You can clear this data at any time from your browser settings, or by using site data / local storage tools in developer tools.

5. Third-party services

Pages may load assets from:

• Google Fonts — typefaces used in the layout
• Unsplash — catalog and backdrop photographs
• Google Cloud Storage sample videos — public demo clips used as stand-in trailers

Those providers have their own privacy notices. Kinoveo does not control how they process server logs for those requests.

6. Children

The catalog is meant to be family-friendly and does not include horror titles. The site is still a demo, not a service directed at children under 13. Do not submit a child’s personal information through the contact form.

7. How long data stays

Watchlist and contact drafts remain on your device until you clear site data or remove items yourself. Because this demo does not operate a backend mailbox, Kinoveo does not retain contact messages on a server.

8. Your choices

• Remove titles from the watchlist using the star or Remove control
• Clear all site data in your browser to wipe localStorage
• Block third-party requests with a content blocker if you prefer not to load remote fonts, photos, or sample video
• Write to us from the Contact page with a privacy question

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you have read the revised notice.
